These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Atithi mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by TODO: Legal business name (as per PAN/GST/company registration). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Atithi connects PG/hostel owners and tenants to manage room occupancy, KYC verification, rent, and related communication.

2. Accounts

Access is via phone number and OTP. You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure.

3. Owner & Tenant Responsibilities

• Owners are responsible for accurately representing rooms, rent, and verifying KYC/payment submissions from tenants.
• Tenants are responsible for submitting accurate KYC information and for the legitimacy of payment proofs they upload.
• Atithi is a coordination tool; agreements between owners and tenants (e.g., rental terms) remain between those parties.

4. Payments

Payments referenced in the app are made and verified directly between owner and tenant, or via a supported payment gateway where enabled. Atithi does not guarantee or insure any payment.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, upload false documents, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, TODO: Legal business name (as per PAN/GST/company registration) is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
